Women of God

Women, you are beautiful,
adorned with precious jewels,
and blessed with flowing hair;
but your beauty comes from within;
from the words of encouragement
to the silent hug of endearment.
True beauty comes from the heart;
the kind gentle spirit
only gifted by the Holy Spirit.
So ladies don't conform
or follow the rules of this world,
for you were known since birth
and are continuously blessed.
God created you for much more
than pretty lashes and straight hair.
You were deigned for greatness
something more than baby makin'.
So listen to these words and be encouraged.
I love you and wish you only the best.
I'd catch your tears and heal your wounds
because you're too pretty to be insecure.
So let these words rest on your heart
because I've loved you from the start;
